Portraits in Oil
In commissioning an oil portrait, whether choosing a contemporary look or something more traditional, your painting can last for generations and become a part of your own family history.
Most portraits are painted from photographic reference although sittings can be arranged. After agreeing the size and price, a planning sketch is produced for approval before starting the finished painting. Oil paint takes time to dry and so a lead time of six weeks is required.
